Mr. Désilets joined the ING group of companies in November 1989, serving as Chief Actuary at ING Canada since January 1993 prior to assuming his current position in January 2007. Before joining ING, he occupied various actuarial functions for two Canadian Property and Casualty Insurance companies. From 1992 to 1997, Mr. Désilets also taught actuarial science at l'Université de Montréal. Mr. Désilets graduated from l'Université Laval (Québec) in 1982 with a Bachelor of Actuarial Sciences degree and is a Fellow of both the Casualty Actuarial Society and Canadian Institute of Actuaries.
