Kathleen Murphy
CEO of ING's U.S. Wealth Management 

Ms. Murphy is currently Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Wealth Management, ING Insurance Americas. Prior to that she was Group President, ING Worksite and Institutional Financial Services, and had previously served as General Counsel Chief Administrative Officer of the US Operations. Ms. Murphy joined ING in 2000, after ING’s acquisition of Aetna Financial Services. Prior to this acquisition, Ms. Murphy served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Aetna Financial Services. Ms. Murphy holds a Juris Doctorate degree with highest honors from the University of Connecticut, and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Economics and Political Science from Fairfield University. Ms. Murphy has been named one of the Fifty Most Powerful Women in American business by Fortune magazine as well as being recognized as one of Wall Street’s top 50 and the Business 100 list by Irish American Magazine.

Ms. Murphy is a member of the Investment Committee.
