Ms. Guénette has held her current positions with us since joining in 1997. Her current functions also include compliance and she is chair of our risk management committee. Prior to joining us, Ms. Guénette was the Chief General Counsel and Head of Corporate Services for a number of different corporations, including a large bank and a financial group in Canada. She also taught Insurance at l'Université de Montréal. She was Governor of l'Université du Québec from 1988 to 1992 and held various positions at the Conservation and Environmental Board of the Province of Québec between 1988 and 1993, including being Chairman from 1992 to 1993. Ms. Guénette has a law degree from McGill University, and is a member of the Québec Bar and the Law Society of Upper Canada.
